This is Not Goodbye
It is with a heavy heart, that we wanted to inform you, we have made the incredibly hard, very thought out decision to close our studio doors. It is humbling and so touching how many of you have continued to support us during these hard times, but we are unable to sustain our business solely on a virtual platform. We weighed all of our options on how to possibly keep the studio alive and, at this time, the best decision for our business and our family is to part ways with our space at 15 Main Street.
We never imagined that we would reach our three year business anniversary and be faced with this decision, especially being the effect of a situation we have absolutely no control over. Our hearts are heavy not only for our own sense of defeat, but for all of you and the thought of the disappointment we may be bringing to our beloved community. As most of you know, we (Nick and Allison) opened this studio on a whim when our hearts felt the call to bring yoga to New Egypt. We never felt comfortable calling the studio “ours” because we truly believed it belonged to all of you who’s dreams and wishes for a yoga studio in our community helped manifest it into a reality. It was YOU, our students and members, who brought the studio to life and kept it breathing all this time. Zephyr has become a pillar of light in New Egypt because everyone who has ever walked through our doors has brightened this space and helped the spirit of yoga expand throughout the town.
When the dust settles and businesses begin to reopen, we will make sure classes are being offered in town. We have already talked to a few places in the community where we can host classes until we, or someone else, can re-create a studio atmosphere for the community at 15 Main Street. We’ve already received affirmation that if the space remains available, we will be welcomed back with ease.
We are so sorry for any disappointment you may be experiencing. The world is in a state where our inner scales are being tested- we can tip in the way of fear and despair or we can tip towards love and acceptance. We accept the fate of our business and we are eternally grateful for the amount of love that flourished over the last three years. Our little family has been forever impacted by our Zephyr family and this is definitely not a good bye. Us, and our AMAZING team of instructors, will be here to support you and guide you and keep the spirit of yoga alive in this town.
Thank you! Thank you all for three beautiful years. Thank you for the kindness and the love. Thank you for giving us a chance and supporting us. Thank you for the love you showed our family and our baby boys. Thank you for trusting us to be a part of your yoga journey. Thank you for being a part of our growth as individuals. Thank you for being a part of Zephyr Yoga!
